  1. The art of seeing politics in any and everything is pervasive in Indian media. ‘Democracy’ you would say. OK. Is it good or bad for progress? Who decides? The media? This is no exception. But be mindful of one aspect,; most Indians lead a life divorced from politics. They are the majority…..Finally what matters is only roti, kapda and makkan. Tailpiece: To what end such interpretations? When will we “grow out of this?”

  2.  @RAIRADIO  Rai, true. Partition was terrible. But then such “portioning” does not happen everyday. And so life is, to most, about roti, kapda and makkan. India is bogged down with petty politics. So it is rightly called a laggard democracy. We can do better by, as you say, acquiring skill sets etc… rather than indulge in fruitless political debated and diatribes. The key is progress and development and job creation.
