  1. Very informative programmes these by Apurva. Thanks. The present laws are more apt and provides for better justice. The doubt still remains, with the law (the old one is relevant here as ordained by the SC) as what it is, is there a provision with the State Government(s) to reject the applications. Could the Givernment have rejected the ‘mercy’ petitions in this case?
