Those who abide by faith are scared of the truth. Faith creates perceptions. Most Indians believe in faith and hence do not care much for data (truth). For instance, some faiths, as proclaimed, do not believe in birth control and consider those who do as non-believers etc…. This has more effect on the society than data. This notion has to be dispelled. Tailpiece: Is there a case to revisit “faith” by all stake holders? A special Note; Applying "Data" logic. Will reservations based purely on economic considerations, encompass all those who are in that category today. Some relevant data may throw much light.
