In any organization, serious matters are discussed only after informing the superiors/peers of the agenda and giving them time to study the matter(s) to be discussed. So then, what does Mr. Swarup want to convey by saying “..ministers have to take an appointment etc.” as if it has a negative connotation. In fact that is how National matters are to be discussed…with warning and time for study. A press meet by a minister is a serious affair…. All concerned including the PM should know about in advance. What is wrong with that? Now don’t bring in humbug of freedom etc… there is enough and more freedom going around in our Nation. Tailpiece: The penchant to wash linen…. Etc.. should be curbed. Monitoring is not the same as control…right?
