The irony is that politics can’t be served for lunch - nor for b’fast or lunch for that matter. A vast region of India knows the “ heartland” only through politics and politicians. Tailpiece: I have lived in these states. They have much more to give and take than agenda based politics, which does not address progress; such as education, skill sets, infrastructure etc…. Hopefully some work on these have started recently.
