Sixer Sidhu was great on the pitch, with the bat. He also improved his fielding skills in later years. It was just inquisitiveness that prompted me to listen to this programme. He started auspiciously with a drop of honey – sweet. But what surprised me was his willingness to hook on the front foot, by talking on the economy etc., in the opening over itself. It will be interesting (and entertaining?) to watch his new innings – though a test match (the elections) he may get to play only one innings.
