  1. Why the why? Let me explain. Xi is NOT the new Mao as Mao as we know him can’t today lead China into a new era. The Chinese people are different, the economy is different, China is not the same internationally, China has more powers outside China than Mao could have ever hoped for with his ideals etc….etc..etc… Tail piece: It is a new China and Xi is Xi and not Mao. It will be better for supporters and detractors of Xi to recongnise this at the earliest and channelize their thoughts accordingly and, if necessary, recast their action plans. And one more point, as a person too Xi is totally different from Mao. For sure, Xi is more intelligent!!!
