  1. Somebody rightly said that the bane of India is that it is a laggard democracy because the opposition (over decades) does not allow reforms and progress. The parliament does not function. The media, and the “experts”, are also for most part partisan. The honorable courts , already over burdened , have to adjudicate on anything and everything. It is time “We the people” of India get away from these political dramas and get down to business,. It is already late. Our neighbors in Asia are racing ahead. Tailpiece: Unless entrepreneurship and the Big money players (who were once entrepreneurs) make money and create jobs there will be no money going around. Besides India has ignored the Farm sector for decades. Hopefully at the end of the present “noise” farming economy in India will be on the ascend. Also caste, religion and political gamesmanship dominating the India media is an impediment to progress. Media too need to play up.
