  1. Disclaimer. I have nothing against the author nor the book or any specific comments on the contents therein - as yet. This is a general observation. A pitfall of democracy is that just about everybody, including the media, other than the elected Government knows what is good or bad for the Nation in general. It does not matter which Government etc…smart people seem to be the experts, opinionatotrs (if I may) and the media not to mention the plethora of study groups ( more importance given to study groups from outside the Nation, so to speak). Tailpiece: it seems that in a democracy Governments can’t do any right, right? Is it time to reconsider our approach to governing India?
