When the dust settles down, it will be realized that the “tour of duty” is a good programme to enable the youth of the Nation and may be detrimental to the efficiency of the Armed Forces. It is damning to see how political parties do not see beyond the party and are ready to do anything, even destroy the fabric of society, for power and wealth?
