In our Nation, as long as We the people, like in all other democracies, go out and vote instead of cast(e)ing their votes (based on caste and religions), we will forever remain a lagging democracy. I suppose, we as well as the media should refrain from discussing religion with politics even while the political parties continue to base their strategies (with people like Mr. Kishore, who is actually doing a disservice to the Nation with his work during elections) on caste and religion. Probably then in a decade or so the politics will solely be based on development and we will make rapid progress as only India can. Tailpiece: Will the media take a lead?
