  1. Foreign policies of the USA belong to the Nation and not to the POTUS. Packaging may be different but the contents will almost always remain the same. It is true with most democracies; so it is with India too.

It is true with all democracies; so it is with India too. Tailpiece: Economy, foreign policies and Defence will be much the same with all Governments in a democracy. The only significant changes will be in procedures and societal show pieces which play out for the core constituencies of supporters.
