  2. Obviously anyone who votes the wrong way has to be denounced as racist. Just as anyone in the old soviet union who didn't agree with communism was denounced as fascist. If you criminalise the opposition you remove their legitimacy. And it makes it that much more easy to disenfranchise them.

  3. As always, the far left and far right have way more in common with each other than they do the more moderate parties. Both are anti-'globalization'. Both talk about bringing down the 'establishment'. And both are generally crammed full of conspiracy theorists. And then of course there's the anti-Semitism. Which, coincidentally, is once again on the rise throughout Europe.

  4. Actually, Russia has the second largest 'military industrial complex' in the world. It also has way more than two military bases outside it's territory. And Putin ain't that bright. He's isolated himself from his neighbours and the west over a navel base in Crimea that he already had, revitalised NATO, crashed the economy, and got himself in yet another costly war! By anyone else's standards, he would be considered a disaster!
