  7. Least friendly to outsider-have you heard of southern hospitality. Highest murder rates. It’s the blue cities in southern states that’s pumping up the murder rate. Not many murders in the red rural areas

  9. Some people are lazy, some people are too afraid of virus. It’s also inconvenient if you live in a flat state with boring landscape like most states on this list

  10. No, not really. So many industries in the south. Vital region for industry, natural resources and agriculture. It’s growing fast. Also brings political balance to the rest of the US

  11. Mississippi won’t be in Top 10 states with highest cost of living and top 10 states with highest taxes either. In fact for both lists, they are pretty much the opposite. Oh, and more recently, top 10 states with the most covid restrictions, won’t be there either
