@facelesscalvin1667 A major variable is whether Germany can import oil or not. If peace in the west means no blockade, that's a big help. The Soviet Union is too big to overrun or occupy, but Germany might be able to repeat WW1 and stress the USSR to the point where Stalin is overthrown. Germany needed a different and better policy of how they treated Soviet citizens behind the German lines. Germany would need to convince the Soviet people that they were better off losing to Germany than continuing to live under Stalin and the Communists. Nazi policy seemed intent on proving that Nazis were worse than the Communists so naturally the Soviet people rallied to Stalin.

@braxtonjones6163 It was a side show, we both know if Wellington and his 120,000 veterans had invaded after thrashing Napoleon you would have been a British colony ;) the only good commander in that war in US for the British was Isaac Brock and he was nothing compared to Wellington
