  1. All bluster and trying to save face. Things are going just as planned. RUssia is also a member of UNSC. The routine is the routine. Totally meaningless gesture. The sanctions are still in place and working. Putin is still a fugitive as branded by the international community. And Russia is in no better position than they have been all along, and will continue to degrade their military, their economy and world reputation. No matter how they try to spin with false bravado, they are in a no win situation. Putins ego just wont allow them to ever admit it. Just as was the case right up to the point the USSR fell completely apart from the cold war they were declaring things for them were not as bad as the west was declaring. ha ha
