@chrismullaney8369 - Naw, just that people should give some thought to the situation now. The upheaval in our society comes from the exponential growth of wealth, which has passed the point of sustainability. Simple as that. Everything going on, from Covid-19 to the recent national protests, are being used to divert our attention from the fact that wealth has grown so large that in order to continue growing, it must consume the national treasury and the host economy to survive. Now the wealthy are willing to do everything necessary to preserve their wealth and privilege. Since they have already sacrificed the well being of most people in society, they well aware of how quickly the greater majority of people can turn on them.

@tomtesoro7994 - Thing is, Germany had an industrial base that could be grown by building armaments. In the USA the industrial base is gone. Is Starbucks and Amazon really enough of a business base to pull off fascism in the USA?

@chrismullaney8369 - That may be true, but this is 2020 with all the technological and manufacturing advances that entails. Back in 1935, it too a great deal more in manpower to manufacture the tools of war. Now what would the USA use currently at full production, maybe 3% of the workforce?
