  4. The Abrams has been knocked out by guided missiles in Yemen and Iraq, but none of them were American Abrams. The Abrams M1A3 will have active protection when it is deployed in the future, but right now the the Abram's doesn't have it. What does make the Abram's pretty unique and have an advantage is the blow-off panels that prevent detonating round from hurting the crew. The explosions go up through the roof, instead of into the crew compartment The Russian T-90 isn't inferior to the Abrams. It's just as good and in cases, it's better. The Abrams is a great tank, built by a country that can afford it, but it's not the best. It does what the US military needs to do very well! I'm American
