  1. That Republican Pollster was so right! Trump is symptom of an increased political divide and societal differences in the US created in the past decade or so. The Republican frustration of dealing with Obama administration and the dislike of Hillary Clinton gave Trump the boost he needed.

  2. Rakita From people who live on the border, I'm sure they feel like they're the most popular entry way for illegal immigrants. Not only will the Wall be expensive to build, but also expensive to maintain. As someone on the Right, I feel like the money could be better spent divided up amongst improving points with little or no border fence and better security/border patrols. You can feel however you want about Trump, but I believe at this point the Wall is mostly being built to please his supporters. A president must balance serious legislation and pleasing his supporters if he wants re-election. The import tax he puts on Mexican goods to pay for the Wall will be interesting. I hope it benefits US companies by reducing competition, but I could also see it causing Mexico to take it business elsewhere and ending almost all trade with the US.

  5. S2000Pat That's the problem. If they send the money back their families, that money isn't spent here in the US. Do you even understand how money works? That money needs to be invested in the US so people can build businesses, restaurants, schools, go to college, etc. If they come here, they need to come here as American patriots willing to live and support this country, not take advantage of it.
