Astoris How so? Brian's neighbor simply said he felt uncomfortable with him having a gun and he lost all his, including his muzzleloader. Seriously, he's gonna go on killing spree with a muzzleloader?

johnny lara People complain all the time about Police officers giving bullshit parking and speeding tickets and then having to get time off work to court. What makes this any different? We have judges given rapists 2 years in prison. You really think this is a fair system?

i am not a weeb I swear Honestly, I'd rather ban pistols than guns like the AR-15. Handguns are most often used in gang wars and robberies. The FBI estimates that 70% of gun deaths are committed by hamdguns

Its good to take away guns from the potentially dangerous and mentally ill, but I understand the concerns that these laws can be used to take guns from law abiding people. And I can see it being used by neighbors to harrass each other.

I respectfully disagree. I think restricting access to certain firearms will help, but not straight up banning them. Machineguns, tanks and assualt rifles are legal in the US, but the process and money needed to legally obtain them is very high. I've never heard anyone being killed by a legally registered machinegun or tank. Perhaps we can do something similar for semi-automatics like the Mini-14, SKS, AK-74 Sportster, AR-15, etc.?

i am not a weeb I swear I find that "Stand Your Ground Incident" extremely bizarre. We have a similar law here in Wisconsin, but it explicitly states that you must be threatened, cornered and out of other options to murder someone legally. I highly suggest you do more research instead of fear-mongering YouTube videos. My Dad owns a 9mm handgun and my roommate owns an AR-15. (I own an AK-74). 9mm handgun bullets are bigger than rifle bullets. An AR-15 shoots 5.56mm bullets. The cartridge for rifles is longer becausd they have more gunpowder, but the bullet isn't bigger. Its actually smaller so it cuts through the air better. What makes rifles more dangerous is velocity. The have more powder because they have to travel farther and still penetrate the target. Rifle bullets are dangerous because of their velocity. Handguns are designed to shoot at closer ranges than a rifle. To be deadly or gravely wound, they rely on Stopping Power. To achieve stopping power, they have bigger bullets. But yes, I'm glad we have the freedom to have open public discourse and discussions. If only politicans can find ways to compromise, like the Founding Father's intended, than this "My way or No Way" attitude.

i am not a weeb I swear I disagree with your system, but I agree a system should be better. Perhaps a firearms permit? Go to a class on firearms safety and handling. Pass the class, get a permit. The permit has to be renewed every 15 years and allows you to buy firearms from licsened gun dealers. No permit, no firearms. But your not required to register your firearms either. This system would be much better imo. You see a lot of idiots at the gun range with no idea how to fire a gun. This system would increase safety tenfold. You don't like guns because you fear them. Thats the problem
