  1. We ARE killing ourselves. Here on the Monterey Peninsula we have the same issue, the bugs have decreased dramatically, which means the FOUNDATION of our ecosystem has shifted and we are now in free-fall with NO idea when or how the ecosystem will re-stabilize after the ice caps are gone. We are MORE than in trouble, we are on our way out.
