@philippkoenigAUS the poorest counties in the US are actually overwhelmingly white (Appalachia etc), and although they have more than their share of drugs and dysfunction, there's almost zero homicides in those communities. Statistically if your poor community were to become at least 10% black, equally as poor as the whites, your town will require a full-time homicide squad.
