@MrAkshatmahajan not all lies are equal, some have more social value than other. Unfortunately the lies of the first 70 years caused erosion of Indian civilisation and values, loss of self respect, a inefficient and corrupt system etc. In contrast most modern lies are more encouraging for social growth and the evolution of the social psyche. But i agree that better lies are not sufficient in the long term, sooner or later at least partial truths will have to enter the political discourse, similar to how the realities of the Kashmiri pundit exodus are causing a resurgence of civilisatio al nationalism, something that extends well beyond modi gandhi or any other individual.

@MrAkshatmahajan Even in Vajpayee's NDA, the mainstream narrative was leftist , and anti India. Jan Sangh and BJP were not mainstream, but outcasts and underdogs in the broader national political narrative. I am not rattled but infuriated that "eminent historians" like romila tharpar and irfan habib could use their "edpertise" to submit a report in the Supreme court of India to refute the archeological evidence of ASI regarding the Ram Janmabhoomi case without even looking at the archeological evidence. Furthermore they can claim they were pressurised by some parties in submitting a biased report devoid of facts, and still be adored by millions of Indians for their "eminence". Such is the level of institutional subversion accrued by such people of anti Indian ideologies (ideologies like marxism, which in all its forms and names sees Indian civilisation as a product of the bourgeoisie that ought to be discarded and destroyed after the revolution). One term by Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not sufficient to revert the past 50 years of perversion of history. As for the strength of Indian civilisation, that can be determined well enough by what it has endured and survived. I am not afraid that it will wither and die. I am filled with rage at how it has been muzzled, and that rage only makes me want to fight back. Peace achieved through compromise with enemies of my civilisation is no longer acceptable. The only peace acceptable now is peace through victory.

@anirudh3333 not all lies are equal. Claiming that all indian cultures are imported (which the left has done) will make indians want to import ideas and cultures. Claiming all indian culture is indigenous (which the right does) will make indians want to create and decide their fate instead of blindly copying the rest of the world. Do you understand the example and how it affects society? Do you see how even between lies, some lies are more useful for society than the other?

@jojyrocks civil war is not prevented by turning a blind eye to conversion rackets. If every religion wants peace in India and acceptance as Indians first, remove the limitations on free speech imposed to protect "religious sentiments" and let the society reorganise itself freely. Punish violence in a unbiased manner with a iron hand. Until you do that, the politicians are simply postponing a civil war hoping that it doesnt happen in their time. BJP or no BJP, increased education and knowledge of history will resurrect social tensions. Closure is not possible when political outrage and social unrest determines the limit of freedom of speech. There will be caste tensions, tensions due to tribal groups, religious tensions, linguistic tensions, ethnic tensions etc. If they can all be resolved peacefully, India will prevail. That is the final gamble , the final chasm to be crossed before true unity through diversity. Only question is who will take the gamble and when is the right time. The solution is not to distort history like the commies did, or to achieve unity through uniformity like what the various conversion rackets are trying.
