@Poojari02 my dear "whatever gender you are". If that was the case you wouldn't be so misled as to make such provocative comments like " no govt supports rapists like UP govt " . When rape is used for politics and defamation, you already crossed the line. But now that actual statistics are being presented, you seem eager to step back into your safe zone. I condemn this crime, but not because of the state which it happened or the religion/caste of the accused. I can call a criminal a criminal irrespective of him being a BJP MLA or a Islamic extremist. @Poojari02 I am from kerala not uttar pradesh.Telengana meanshile has a rapes per capita of 4.9 % as opposed to UP's (underreported ) 2.3 %. Assuming that 66 % rape cases are not reported in UP, telengana still has comparable stats despite boasting a much better economy and greater deal of development. I wouldnt stoop low as to mention specific cases of rape in telengana, but you proved again that you only blame specific state governments. You dont care about feminism, its just a "use and throw" ideology to further your own political interests...

Assuming that only 33 percent crimes are reported in both cases, the same conclusion remains. I dont think you dear are going to claim that 100 percent crime reporting occurs only in rajasthan and only when the congress is in power. But then again dear, i dont know you that well...

@thischanneldoesnotexist.2975 my dear, even if yoa assume only 33 percent rapea are reported in UP while 100 percent rapes are reported in rajastan (which is a much less plausible assumption than my original assumption of uniform under reporting among states which have similar social cultures) UP still has better stats. But dear, the problem of rape is much more sensitive than stats, but like i said: rapes are newsworthy and require extensive coverage only when committed allegedly by a hindu priest in BJP rule UP. Though a much better level of social awareness is needed all across india, the bias of media houses is well evident from the stats available.

One time its in hyderabad where the victim is set ablaze while at another time its in delhi like in Nirbhaya. Even today a rape case was reported from jharkhand where glass shards were inserted into the victims private parts. But most "liberal" media houses lie both by commission and omission. Its as simple as not promoting a story if the story doesn't fit with your narrative, and extensive coverage whenever it does. If you are blind to that basic fact, if you truly believe that brutality exists only in BJP ruled states, you are just too naive dear..

Similarly you ignore the North East, with persistent insurgencies until modis first term. The industrialisation in these states are evidence enough of how better they are in UP. Sure UP has a long way to go, and needs reforms like splitting the state into more manageable parts. But to claim UP as the worst state because of the monk ruling it, thats just hatred and bias dear. Even the founder of the Print admits to the political biases of journalists : of how they got the 2019 results so wrong.
