Because abrahamic faiths have more resources while indic groups are more disorganised. Only rss has been successful to some extent in reconnecting them back to their indic roots .

@akshatsrivastava4280 in what manner do you think rss has "abrahamised" hinduism. What do you define as "abrahamisation"? Is it monotheism or allegiance to a single diety? The vilification and dehumanising of ones opponents? Or speaking of absolutes? Define your definition of "Abrahamisation" and then i may get a better understanding...

@akshatsrivastava4280 i agree wholeheartedly with the last point. But i have to ask, if the rss set up facilities for the discussion and propagation of Indic philosophies, how would that ve different from sunday schools and Christian preachers? Would that not be another step in abrahamification? I would say no, setting up facilities to teach Indic philosophy through the system of "Guru Sishya parampara" is possible. Mass dissemination of complex Imdic philosophical ideas is necessary in modern India. It has been done by great people like Swami Chinmayananda (who was one of the founding members of VHP) . Political consolidation is not Abrahamisation, and political incompetence is not Indic romanticism. But political consolidation is not a complete approach to ensure continuity of Indic civilisation. On that one can i agree with you...

@akshatsrivastava4280 my understanding of "Abrahamisation" is the villification of opponents, dehumanising them as the "agents of the devil" or " victims" who must be saved from their indigenous pagan cultures through sustained aggression. My understanding of abrahamisation is the invoking of "blasphemy" to sheild ones ideology from all critical analysis, thereby sacrificing logic and truth at the altar of faith. I doubt the RSS are doing either. Truth and Science are Dharmic. To me Dharma is not scientific, science is Dharmic. Traditions whose original logic has been disproved are not Dharmic. If Dharma is the highest cosmic reality conceivable, then human understanding of Dharma ought to be shaped by evolving perceptions. If our current information is that a birth based varna system is not the best indication of guna or character, then our understanding of Dharma must evolve accordingly. After all human senses are limited, and we must have the humility to acknowledge any errors on our part, correct them and move onwards to acquire a better understanding of Dharma.

@vibhavdeshpande8196 exactly! Rejecting something simply because it came from a christian mind is true abrahamisation. It is the vilification of all things that are not of Dharmic origin. To counter predatory faiths, we must first be able to acknowledge the truth and reality of our current situation. Acknowledgement (not acceptance) of all reality includes acknowledging that untruth can be more effective than truth with proper organisation. Rejecting such organisation is akin to ideological untouchability. It is not a forward looking approach to expanding human understanding of Dharma.

@akshatsrivastava4280 making religion political, that was there from the time religion existed. Religion was a tool for political legitimacy. That wasnt introduced with the RSS. Ut was there right from ashokas times: after defeating his siblings and seizing his thrones ashoka politicised buddhism to mould his ideal state. Buddhist texts portray him as if he were some lost soul who found the light through buddhism, despite the fact that he was a practising buddhist during the kalinga war. So i sincerely doubt RSS was the first to politicise religion. There have been state religions and state temples (most modern example is the Padmanabaswamy temple) throughout history. That is the use of religion to acheive political purposes. How is it different from the actions of the RSS?

@akshatsrivastava4280 what is the problem with mass conversions? What is the problem with ghar wapsi? Is hinduism genetic and restricted to the Indian subcontinent? Do you have to be born a hindu to be a hindu? Or is the knowledge of Dharma the criteria of measurement? If it is the criteria, how do you spread the knowledge of Dharma? By vilification of the poor man who converts his religion for a sack of rice to feed his starving family? Or by reconverting and empowering the man? The absence of Ghar wapsi or conversion is the reason why buddhism spread upto japan, while hinduism spread upto cambodia only by conquest. What is the better way to spread the knowledge of Dharma in the modern age of nuclear weapons and space technology? Conquest?

@HoneyBadgerz not vilifiying the opponents isn't the same as celebrating them. I disagree with mohan bhagwats appeasement tactics like "hindu muslim have same dna" because dna is not the issue. The issue is that abrahamic faiths are fundamentally adharmic. The soilution to problems in this century and this decade cannot color the earth red. Maybe it would be possible in the coming decades, with a worsening climate crisis and an ascending India. Whatever the future holds, I do not villify muslims but i also do not forgive Islam
