People are not fools, everyone rememvers the "hindu rate of economic growth"... People are tired of being insulted repeatedly and their culture being destroyed by BJP opponents - current central govt is a reaction to auch attempts by opponents of BJP..

  3. By not privileged do you also include those dalits who benefitted from mudra loans, medical loans and home loans? If that is the case then you will be asking a very small percentage of the dalit population. Hindutva as savarkar defined it called for end of caste discrimination and of bith based hierarchy - the logical consequence of that is that an obc is the PM of India and a dalit ex-IPS officer is the president of TN BJP. There is still a long way to go but it is the right way. Meanwhile periyars dravidianism wanted to readicate brahminism by eradicating brahmins - sinilar to the cultural genocide of uighurs in xinjiang. The same periyars dravidianism hated north Indians and even malayalis - instead calling for a ethnic nation in tamil nadu seperate from India. That is why BJP has some chance of getting into TN but dmk has no chance of spreading to any other state - they dont even want to do that because it is against their ideology of tamil supremacy.
