You mean luke how criticism of islam can currently put you in trouble for "promoting enemity between groups" by "hurting religious sentiments". I do hope however that the new criminal code allows criticism of hinduism and all other religions - so that supreme court does not blame the murder of Kanhaiya Lal on Nupur Sharmas exposing of the life of mohammed and his attraction to 9 year old ayesha...

@vrindavanguj7361 of course you will go far as to claim the murder of Kanhaiya Lal and akbaruddin owaisi speech of "remove police for 15 minutes..." was also done by bjp. We know how the book "rss ki saazish" was promoted and scheduled to release after 26/11 attacks. The people know the reality and they convey their knowledge in the vothing booth ... that is why real fascists like tmc has to resort to booth capture and intimidation to hold on to power.

@k.p.dineshdinesh353 certainly happenned in gujarat, mp and karnataka. The fact that these happen in states irrespective of ruling party and always involve one particular other group shows exactly where the problem lies...

@vrindavanguj7361 of course , obviously the bjp loves communal clashes, that is why so many clashes occured in bengal and rajasthan in the past year - oh wait those are not ruled by bjp are they?

@k.p.dineshdinesh353 already exjsting system that supports non hindu faiths against criticism is already causing clashes like in rajastan amd bengal - remember the "sar tan se juda" protests where thousands of musliks called for the beheading of nupir sharma? Or how about the ram navami riots in bengal or the hanuman jayanti riots in rajastan. If these communal clashes are happening in the current penal code and law system then there is no point in keeping them. Better to create a new penal code and law system , fine tune it as time goes by, instead of folowing the same system that has been in place right from the times of the moplah massacres partition violence, and all the communal riots in Independent India...

@vrindavanguj7361 tell me what do they stand for and what does the side you supports stand for. Let us then see what both sides have done, both good and bad, and see who is better for the future of the nation...

@poo-tinthedwarfbunkerb1tch535 an open threat wpuld be something like " remove police for 15 minutes and we will see if we are stronger or you are". Amit shahs statement seems more like accuaing the congress pf being unable to manage law and order if elected into power. But hey people interpret such vague statements depending on their political inclinations..

@poo-tinthedwarfbunkerb1tch535 the bjp govt did talk about manipur in parliment - just not in the way the opposition wanted to. But yeah, thats the bjp's position, they will accuse the congress of being unable to manage law and order despite the fact that manipur is proof of inability of bjp to manage violence and unwillingness to send army and impose presidents rule. As for 2002, the judiciary has itself investigated and found out that it was only inability of the bjp and not unwillomgness - since modi asked for more troops but was denied in that request by adjacent non bjp ruled states. Irrespective of that people still vote for the bjp when it plays the law and order card despite its own records - because most people believe that they will get more justice and protection under bjp than under congress...
