  2.  @SurinderKumar-ln1sh  not investing in defence research is different from timidity and hesitancy in leadership as nehru showed in 1962. I dont like blaming him for everything but that doesnt mean he was perfect. 1962 was nehrus blinder, not just because of lack of investment in defense but because of geopolitical idealism. Spending money on defense is as essential as spending money on space sector. We do not have the freindliest of neighbours, and one of them is rather competant at defense tech...
