Pak Army would be smarter than that and given up osama not in abbottabad (a few km away from a major army establishment) but instead would have escorted osama to some remote location if they actually wanted to give him up. Obama himself has said that he did not inform the pakistanis on Intel about Osama's whereabouts, as the US army had seen a strange pattern of unsuccessful drone strikes against militants whenever they shared intel with the Pak Army. Pak Army and Pakistan were left red faced and shell shocked after Osamas execution in pakistani soil so close to a major military installation. To this day people remember pakistan as "the nation where osama was found"
