  2. A state presiding over a civilisation does not make it a civilisational state. The Republic of India is not a Hindu Rashtra in letter or spirit. That is why various state goverents still manage amd interfere in the affairs of temples, allow non hindus to participate in said management and interference while the judiciary also interferes as it sees fit. If India were a Hindu Rashtra, there would not have been a devades long battle for the Ram Janmabhoomi reclamation or the ongoing battle for Kashi Vishwanat and the Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura... India is becoming a Hindu Rashtra is spirit and aspirations of many of its people - but that percentage is much less than the so called 82% hindus (a statistic only kamal nath knows the source of). To become a Hindu Rashtra will take generations of hard work and Kamal Nath will probably not be around to see it...
