@abulkalam1976 Yes he did. In stark contrast, his actions before and after PMship have been a one of combating climate change, from setting up solar parks in gujarat to scaling up that model at a national level amd creating initiative (international solar alliance) at the global level

@mithileshkumar-rt4yt i dont disagree with you. I just highlighted how a senior journalist aaid two contradicting things about a media platform on the same show over a span of a few months. Makes one question his journalistic ability and integrity.

@premkumarsiddharth4903 not justifying but devoloping countries are harder to decarbonise. The historical impacy of colonialism demand rapid development to acheived parity with the developed world to compensate for previous degradation and prevent further threats to sovereignty. Of course India has nukes, but that isn't the case for sri lanka or smaller countries

@Seriouslyfunny1 you live in India where.targets are set for renewable production and are increased continuously, be it solar, wind, hydro or geothermal. Coal is being phased out in India despite India having the worlds largest reserve of peat. Soon petroleum based products will be phased out in the next decade due to the advances in electric vehices ( advances in that sector is not just tesla coming to India, but much more fundamental disruptive events like the usage of aluminium graphene fuel cells for EV, utility (grid) level iron air batteries for integration of intermittent renewable sources, etc. I live in India too, an India that is in the top 5 in the global level when it comes to renewable, and is betting big on renewable energy to propel growth and meet energy demands while reducing import bills in the coming decade.
