Islamic law itself states that a muslim man can marry non muslim woman but non muslim man should never be allowed to marry muslim woman. Many cases of both example can be seen from everywhere from karnataka to delhi. Meanwhile muslim man marries non muslim woman in name of love and then tries to force her to convert to islam - because to such despicable humans their religion is more important than respecting their wife - but hey if you think mohamed was the ideal perfect man then that is bound to happen. This plague of islam has gotten so bad that christians in kerala framed the word "love jihad" and are now siding with north Indian hindus to stop this plague and protect their communities. That is how regressive islam has made such a large section of humanity that call themselves muslim. But hey, you cannot apply logic to islam, if you do that then you commit shirk - and the worst thing the demon allah hates is shirk. allah doesnt care about sunnis and shias fighting to the death or saudis causing a humanitatian crisis in yemen, but if you do shirk then you get eternal jahannum and if you remain devout despite being a terrorist, you get rivers of alchohol and 72 virgins.   7. @@thewhitedeath9350 you forgot the single most important word in the entire argument - any muslim man can legally practise polygamy while most non muslims cannt legally practise the same. In the eyes of the constitution, that is discrimination without justification. If a national crimes survey finds that murder is prevalent at rates x%, y% and z% amongst various communities, that xldoesnt exactly make murder legal. Try un use facts in a more sensible way rayher than throw it at the face of someone simply to shut their mouth. In a similar sense there have been judicial court orders sahing that muslim minor women can conciously choose a pattner and marry legally before reaching the age of 18 if she has reached puberty. The question again becomes - does the principlea of the constitution or the principles of its interpretor bend over backwards for one paryicular community? Is it not a attack on the constitutions spirit when such outrageous arguments are acceptes by the judiciary of India? Where do all the so called "liberal" defenders of the constitution dissapear when such outrageous discrimination is made by the very judiciary?

Women are treated as half intelligent child bearing machines by nuslim families and married off at a young age. Even in kerala with all the HDI, muslim women do not pursue higher education or job after marriage but are married off lile cattle. But i am syre muslims are only following tge footsteps of islamic nations lime saudi arabia - where the witness account of one muslim woman is worth half of that of a man. That is the beauty of equality in islam - it discriminates agaibs about half of total human population and then calls itself as religion of equality .
