Comments by "suraj s" (@surajs5913) on "Shiva, Skanda: How Hindu gods absorbed Iranian, Greek ideas" video.
So basically the presentor rants on about how the kushans adapted hindu gods, zoroastrian gods and greek gods for political purposes - while the videos title suggests that the perception of hindu gods were actively and consciously moulded using external influences by practising hindus over the ages in some sort of concerted effort to econcile the differences between other pagan religions and hinduism - the presentor does illustrate the fact that attempts at using religion for furthering political narratives is not exclusive to rulers of the past but extends even to historians of the present - he has stirived hard to lead by example in this regard...

@teja7976 what a retort to my challenge! You have illustrated the level of your intellectual capacity with your comment! You have truly joined the ranks of these so called "hindu goons" who assign names like "anti national", "bakrichod" and "liberandu" to people they dont like - i.e. attacking the person instead of countering the arguments or have a rational conversation. Congrats on this acheivement!

@teja7976 you actually beleive that persons of one ideological preference are holier, purer and more virtuous than another group somply due to their ideological inclination? I can understand if you want to chicken out instead of refuting my seemingly indefensible claims. It does take a certain degree of maturity and humilty to aclnowledge that all humans are prone to errors of judgement and weaknesses of virtue and intellect instead of deifying the group pf humans you admire while villifyiig the group you detest. But i guess you lack the maturity to comprehend such subtle truths , that is just a part of your limitation...

@PTSD.. evidence based conclusions? Lol so called evidence based conclusions would have one beleive that breast tax was a oppressive regime in pre modern kerala where women were taxed based on the size of their breasts. Tracing the actual citation loop to its source however reveals that the entire story of a tribal woman chopping off her breasts was marxist propaganda concocted over the decades. Thats all you need to spread propaganda through academia - time and sufficient number of citations from well known scholars. The academia of social sciences have their own dogma and are the new gatekeepers of legitimate knowledge - they play the same role as the church and clergy played in medievel europe and people like you dance to their tunes instead of confronting actual criticism with actual evidence or logical reasoning... good job...
