  1. @Manpreet Singh the constitution allows it. Indian secularism is not separation of religion from state but equidistance from all religions and spiritual ideologies. Hinduism is legally considered a religion but the highest courts of india still acknowledge that it is more of a spirituality, or way of life rather than a organised religion with one prophet and one holy book.
