@momobhai3792 bose didnt distort indian history for the purpose of gaining political power. At that point most people of colonies were leftists since capitalism was associated with colonialism. But being a leftist in this day and age after the 1991 reforms is just stupid. And the attempts of leftists to distort indian history has made anyone who likes indias culture wary of the left ideology. We dont want a "cultural revolution" like in china.

@cccc2740 modern indian leftists wont argue on the validity of the marxist theories of dialectic materialism or tyranny of the proletariat. Everywhere the communist ideology has been attempted, it has led to disaster and economic failure. Modern Indian leftists are just closet revolutionaries blind to the realities of the world and how the communist and socialist ideologies are fundamentally against the human spirit of self affirmation.

@momobhai3792 yes. And any form of lying or distorting history is stupid, left or right. Again, the marxian economic model i cannot compete with modern models of regulated free market simply in terms of innovation. Thats the most factual blunt reason why marxist ideology is a failure, because its fundamental theory of economics is regressive and inefficient.
