Even ignoring our history and moral dependencies, India never interfered in iran syria afghamistan or any conflict in the balkans. Why should that change now? Just bwcause this conflict is closer to the heart of europeans? India has better things to do than act as moral judge for immoral conflicts all across the world - better things like taking care of its own people...

Russia is not mighty and ukraine had no choice but to defend itself against Russia?

@literarymusings8886 Vishwaguru has already spoken - his judgement is that war is bad and peace is desirable... if he goes to ukraine, he would be just weakening India by dancing to the tunes of NATO..

@SquareRoot 😂😂😂 maybe you dont understand but dont include me in your "we"... Indias stand is simply that any war is bad, be it one in ukraine or in syria... Indias stand is that peace and neutrality from India is the best chance at deescalation and prevention of the fragmentation of the world into two superblocks. Indias stand is that the security, defense , upliftment and betterment of Indians is more important to the Government of India above all other geopolitical objectives...

Lol according to you real balls is dancing to the tunes of NATO. But real balls is focusing on the people that elected you rather than trying to become the next global police...

@mrgyani lol India suports russia? How? What arms and financial aid has India sent to russia? Indian foreign policy has effectively inserted us as a middleman in the energy trade between russia and the west while Indias stance has also meant that france and usa are vying to enhance defense ties with us. Meanwhile simultaneously the BRICS nations are expanding and coming up with a mechanism to replace the petrodollar. Yet you think Indian foreign policy is misguided jut because we did not unambiguously support western nations who accuse russia of breachin international law despte the fact that they too have breached international law on multiple occasions in the past 3 decades....

It is sad that she speaks the truth? Or is it sad that she understands Indias position?

Haan bhai rehne de, i cannot do such impossible tasks as making you understand when you have chosen feigned ignorance as your weapon...

@inderkaur1437 again you conviniently missed the 2nd part of the sentance - all war is bad, be it ukraine or syria... As for being dragged into the war, India was not dragged into anything when war raged across syria, iraq or for decades in afghanistan. Ukraine is much more geographically distant that all three of those so i dont think war will reach India anytime soon. It is outrageous how western narratives try to fool everyome into thinking the ukraine conflict is the only conflict of the last few decades when in reality it has been ensured that atleast one global conflict remains active at any point of time to boost the western defence industries. Fact of the matrer ia that unlike syria iraq or afghanistan, the ukraine conflict is much closer to europe both economically, politically and geographically - it directly affects the supply of energy, the sentiments of people and the defence of europe... that is why europe is hellbent on trting to convince everyome that war will find the rest of the world sooner or later, in hopes that the world will join the economic crusade against russia. India not participating in this convoluted rabid madness is because of the history of the past three decades (the same conflicts mentioned above) and the fact that actually taking sides will escalate the conflict into an actual global conflict. Asking India to join in to meet the short term objectives of european politicians is shortsighted for global peace and in no way beneficial to India. As for china, of this Indians are 100% sure that the people who will gain the most from a sino Indian conflict is the same western military Industrial complex. These notions of the free world against autocracies are political narratives of the west that is never backed by consistent action across the decades. Hence both europe and usa are unreliable partners when ut comes to defence... You might have chosen to forget the histoey of military conflicts in the past 3 decades, but dont expect the rest of us to do the same...
