If you fear losing friends then lose the hijab. If religion comes before friendship or anything else, then such rabid religiosity need not be exclusive to any peaceful community alone.

These are not hijab clad students but full on burqa clad students. You might even find burqa clad men between them if you checked.

@mohammadshahidhusaini3122 the idols are friendlier than muslims, idols do not commit terrorism or love jihad. They are more peaceful. If i were to choose between these two friends, idols seem like a safer choice for peace and progress. If muslims feel that hijab too is friendly (such delusions are possible since after all hijabs are essentially chastity ga4ments designed to protect the "privacy" of women and objectify them as property of men) then they should also choose hijab over friendship. That will make things easier, when both sides make clear that they are not each others friends, a quick decisive resolution of the issue can be reached. Since the hindus can keep their friendly idols out of college, the muslims too can keep their friendly hijabs out of college. Either that, or they can keep their unfriendly selves out ot the college.

@mohammadshahidhusaini3122 the worst idol of the modern world is the idol of islam. Its a stillborn child stuck in medieval arabia which muslims fight over, from sunni vs shia to saudi vs turkey vs iran. @pratyushanand2111 if head scarfs can be permitted as an exercise of religious freedom, then scarves too should be allowed as an exercise of religious freedom. In any living religion, the adherents have the right to decide how to exercise their religiosity. If that right can be curtailed by the norms of a educational institution, such curtailment should atleast be impartial to all. Anything short of that is appeasement.

@kamranfarrukh1577 apparently according to you the rape and murder of kashmiri pandits is not real islam, sunni shia conflicts, the abject starvation gripping yemen due to saudi actions, the famine in taliban controlled afghanistan, terror attacks on sikhs, forced conversion of mentally challenged children in Uttar Pradesh or the attacks on hindus in bangladesh, all that is not true islam. But apparently the riots of 2002 is true hinduism. According to you terror must have no religion though hinduism is the religion of facism. True islam is like true communism, its a con used by conmen to grab power. It deserves no respect of tolerance, since it is inherently intolerant.
