Comments by "suraj s" (@surajs5913) on "As SC reserves verdict, a reminder of how anonymous bonds legalised electoral corruption" video.
The allotment of govt contracts by proper tendering mechanism and the shaping of policy by proper govt. industry cooperation must be ensured instead of all blame being laid onto electoral bonds. The idea as it was conceived, in which the corporate cannot disclose to which political party the bonds were given, seems the best option to prevent ill will while ensuring entry of money into political system and political parties. Corporate money is needed in political system and Indians need to wake up from this christian mindset that money is evil and poverty is pure.

9:25 who knows for example if money can be used to fund news outlets in India to influence public opinion and distort the political discourse? I am not saying it happened but that cannot be ruled out... Leaps of obtuse reasoning cut both ways, shekhar...

Are there any concrete examples of what you claim or is it just a conspiracy theory?

11:31 i have a more pertinent question, can the great independent fourth pillar of democracy, namely the "free" press provide analyses on systems that permit (legally or illegaly) the flow of money from the organised formalised private sector to the political sector in developing countries so that the Indian people understand the proper context and evaluate the situation holistically rather than in isolation? Or is it that the fourth pillar of democracy is beyond engaging itself in such banal activities?

Plunder of who exactly? And explain how? Maybe give an example to support your reasoning...

@vivek1raja if everything is transparent then there can be ill will among the voters who have the right as a consumer to boycott the products of thse industrialists that support an ideology that they oppose - they can attribute a corporate donor (who may be devoid of any ideology) to a particular ideology that they oppose, similar to the cancerous woke movement of usa. The choice of the consumer is also transparent and is premissible and protected under the law - even having a unjustufied buas against a corporate is legally allowed. And we all know what kind of ridiculous propaganda campaigns erupt from foreign entities that are beyond any realm of transperency like in the case of the hindenberg expose of adani and the political fallout that followed....

10:34 all these suspicions are part of everyones right to free thought but tell me exactly if there have been any such leaks of data or matching of numbers to identify donors or is this just a conspiracy theory?

Primary corruption is India is not electoral corruption but corruption through distribution of funds allocated - i believe it was shekhars favorite gandhi, rajiv gandhi who said that if govt spends 1 rupee, 15 paise reaches the common man...

@mg.f.9023 opposition getting funds from china to spread propaganda - "if you look at the constitution , India is never described as a nation but as a union of states" I too can make the wildest arguments and accusations. Open spurce sattelite imagery of Indias border with china are available. If any opposition leader or any private citizen has spine and integrity they can use it to convince people. Even foreign players or china directly can leak the same if there were any truth to your claims. But no one will do that because no one can. Only idiots like yourself will keep repeating such propaganda in hopes of fooling the gullible...

@neeljavia2965 people treat adaninlike a pariah now - yet political parties still need adani to construct vizhinjam deepwater port. Adani is no angel but investigation so far revealed that his group did not violate any laws at the time alleged - that may be due to deficiency in the law but even then the group seems to have done nothing illegal no.matter how miscgevious its actions were. But if your judgement is based on whom the adani group is backing publucly, then you are just showing that electoral bonds are necessary so that corporate does not suffer backlash from people due to their political alignment .....
