  3.  @Royboy50 IMO Pensions should n be higher full stop and set at a rate based on a new living wage that’s actually liveable on. Whilst I appreciate that’s probably not going to happen it should be done as some ( not all, like my neighbours ) have paid into the system all their working lives. Maybe it could be based on what you’ve paid in throughout the years. I’m not actually sure why pensioners keep voting Tory as they don’t really care about them as they give in one hand and take out the other. My main reason for scrapping the triple lock is that every time we come near to a GE they get a huge rise, this year pushing 9%. Not many jobs have that luxury ( except MPs!) so they should have it running with inflation ( if they didn’t have my idea of paying out more in the first place. ) and have it capped at no more than 6% without.
