@worrywart1311 People like those that families benefitted from the slave trade that are sitting in large estate properties etc should be made to hand them back. Why is it ok that us as taxpayers have only just finished paying the interest for monies paid to slave owners for “loss” of their slaves yet the families of those same slaves can’t be paid back?

@parkemessier6128 Are you that thick not to realise that the current line have all benefitted from the slave trade? When you watch that crown going on the Kings bonce where do you think those jewels came from? Kensington & Hampton court palace - Where did the money come from? As for reperations - wipe all the debts from the Caribbean islands is a good start. Then you can look at places like Barbados where the largest land owner isn't a born and bred Barbadian but a white UK MP?....
