Lee Anderson and Rupert Lowe didn’t even bother to show up according to reports.

Where were The farm owner Rupert Lowe and 30p Lee in the UK farming inheritance tax vote? Were they too busy milking the cows???
1
@lsmith992 The majority of farmers voted for Brexit thus making the UK a third country hence the record numbers coming here. They also voted to remove their own EU CAP subsidies - average £70,000 to £7,200 but are probably blaming Labour..
1
@valeriegrimshaw1365Just a shame that most of the people complaining that farmers get preferential tax rates didn’t care in 2016 when they/you voted to take away their large EU CAP subsidies. This is all more RW rhetoric because the Tories/Reform lost and all of a sudden a democratically elected PM is on the other side.
1
@markbedwell3100 By leaving the EU farmers CAP subsidies ended with the final ones gone by 2028 - the average was £70,000 ( or £87,000 in Clarksons case ) Now they are £7,200 3 guesses where the extra money they have lost is passed onto? My point being that you Brexit patriots are up in arms over wealthy landowners who are the most subsidised people in the country are now going full snowflake mode over Inheritance tax when you didn’t give a toss about them in 2016. Feed, fuel, grain, fertiliser, farm machinery costs have gone thru the roof due to import costs. So yes, it is because of Brexit but keep denying it all you want. Maybe stand at Dover and watch all the extra brown people landing then blame Starmer for it…😂

@markbedwell3100 And imo the WFA should have never been introduced ( by Labour ) in the first place. Mortgage free pensioners are loaded. Why should the tax payer subsidise them? Especially as most are Tory voters and don’t want any for of socialism in this country unless of course it affects their pockets.
1
@LifesAbe-ach Don’t forget the 40% discount on council tax for their home and zero council tax for the land. THE most subsidised people in the country.
1
Not a Brexit voter by any chance Stephen??
1
@nickryder9669 yea but a woman losing her mobile phones much more important to the snowflakes.
1
@clarepartrick1066 😂 What a waste of time. The Will of the people have spoken. You lost, get over it.
1
Reform MPs then.
1
Reform told them to leave the EU and lose all of the subsidies sausage.

@wendy-t7l6e 😂 I’m retired. My good friend is an agronomist who looks after farms up to 2,200 acres - they are far from poor. Brexit voter I take it then? If so, well done - you shafted them.
1
@wendy-t7l6e And those boat people you are so concerned about are only here because you voted to make us a third country. You won’t learn, will you?
1
@djs356 Will you be shaming Lowe and Anderson who were MIA?
1
@lindsaymckeown513 Shame none of the Brexit patriots were voting to help the farmers in 2016 though and now moaning about a tax that everyone else has to pay ( at a higher rate )
1
No James, you were gritting because where you live it snows. Are you blaming Starmer for the weather now?😂
1
@XHYTHTGFRVFGBV Yea. 2 of their MPs couldn’t even be bothered to turn up and vote 😂
1
