Unfortunately people were duped into all this by the media, with most people so wound up by 10 years of gaslighting they actually believed removing the Dublin agreement was a good thing. Of course both governments never used it correctly but it was far better to have it than not imo. Once France knew we was out the middle eastern floodgates opened.

  13. ​ @andreashessler838 No andrea. An asylum seeker can apply for asylum in any country they wish to. That was before and after brexit. They can cross 10 safe countries to get to that place of choice, the only way they would be obliged to stay in a particular country would be if they had family members there that had previously applied for asylum. Nice try dropping schengen in though. Safe countries nonsense does not count anymore as the UK voted to leave Europe so its Brexit supporters fault why the situation is now worse.

Anyway as I mentioned previously if someone is applying for asylum then they can apply anywhere they choose to and cross as many safe countries to do this. This was both before and after Brexit. The word "safe" is often used by people that don't fully understand the rules. The only reason a person seeking asylum to stay in another country world be if they have family members already there. They know this hence head straight to the UK where because of people that took us out of the EU we are now a third country and legally obliged to process them where there is a years backlog currently. Therefore voting for Brexit has made the situation worse but people were warned but refused to listen because they were far too deep in the media gaslighting.

  16. ​ @lisacrane3143 Like it or not if anyone wants to keep the National Health Service as free as possible then Labour is the only way to go. Reform have already mentioned " private " health vouchers and are run by people with close links to rich health insurance owners in the U.S. and the tories will run it deeper into the ground so everyone pops their clogs as quickly as possible so they won't have to pay state pensions. Forget anyone who says they will stop people seeking asylum as the only way to do that would be within the EU and invoking the Dublin agreement correctly.
