  5.  @Brimstoneandfire  Of course we NEED the EU market. 75% is sold there ( 90% for lobsters. ) Exports were down over 80% thanks to Brexit and the pandemic earlier this year so those who work in the industry need a good relationship between us and France otherwise more family businesses that have been going for decades face going under. Obviously being a patriot you don't care about that🤦

Forget what the bloke in the video is trying to do by winding up the myopic and think like you were someone in the business rather than just copying what the Stone Island brigade want and spouting the usual efff the french stuff/bomb them/ block up the tunnel etc. None of those have any idea about selling to our biggest trading partners. Yes of course we can sell elsewhere but how long do you actually think family businesses could sustain the cost of sending their produce to Australia and the far east rather than 26 miles away ? Unfortunately with regards to fishing quotas it wasn't the French, Spanish etc who decided to sell off 55% of the catch quotas to companies based in the EU Paul. It was our idiotic government continuing the sell off to anyone abroad. That's why we are in the position we are in now. Farage can't argue a toss on anything to do with Fishing considering he only bothered to turn up to 1 of the 42 Fisheries committee meetings when he was part of the dark side he spent telling everyone that was evil for 2 decades. Please wake up fella. You've been duped.
