Do you not realise that the money comes from central government so Labour councils won’t get a fair rub of the green with a Tory government controlling the purse strings. Maybe you could put some form of citation to show the 10% from. The Sun/Mail/Express or Facebook don’t count…

Train drivers have huge responsibility- a fully laden tube train for example holds 1350 passengers. It pays reasonably well because that's what the unions have fought for over the decades and industry standards.

  48.  @stoicsceptic8420 Before Brexit we had the Dublin regulation. If an asylum seeker had been fingerprinted in another safe country we were legally allowed to send them straight back. Now we are a third country after you patriots choose not to read the rules properly but pick bits out from the Sun etc we cannot do that as we’ve left the EU….. Well done. It’s your fault.

  49. ⁠​⁠ @stoicsceptic8420 Word salad. Yes you are to blame. The usual blaming the EU or other countries does not wash as regardless of what’s happening there we don’t live in those countries. In the grand scheme of things we only take in a small percentage in compared to those countries. The main difference is that we now have NO way of sending anyone back to anywhere thanks to people voting the wrong way - those people are the ignorant ones.
