  5.  @02robinsond  Just because you have a degree that doesn't entitle you to earn more than anyone else. Train drivers have huge responsibility- a fully laden tube train for example holds 1350 passengers. It pays reasonably well because that's what the unions have fought for over the decades and industry standards.

  8.  @joline2730  Politicians only use the rail during daylight hours when stations will be staffed and then they sit in first class before sending the bill to us - the taxpayer. If it gets dark they check into a posh hotel or their second homes in Westminster.
