  6.  @johnbrennan7175  Maybe if someone earning 600k plus bonuses gave the rail staff who worked all thru that pandemic whilst he sat safely at his home desk a fair pay rise and not try to rip up contracts that have been in place for years they wouldn't have to strike.

  8.  @Novacaine_m  " Working from home " is a very loose term. My neighbours either side of me sat in the garden in the sun. One of them actively boasted that he landscaped his garden on the High strength lager come 4pm. Now he's the first to moan ( originally about brown people or eastern Europeans) when everything ( beer & fags mainly )went up. Lot's of these people voted Tory and are against socialism in any form except when it affects their bank balance. I agree on the fraudulent contracts but those people who sat on their arses are the first to complain when all those people ( Rail staff, Postal workers, NHS nurses, shop staff etc etc ) risked their lives going to work thru the pandemic and now want some recognition, not claps but hard cash. You don't need to look very far too see muppets mention tik tok dancing or train staff sitting around when those people were in work everyday. ALL that covid money needs to be reclaimed to help bring inflation down. After all why should I pay for someone else getting a benefit? I thought Socialism was evil after all...

Lincolnshire is a hard Brexit area, the people that are coming ( like it or not ) aren’t illegal until they have been processed accordingly. You mentioned that they should all be sent back to France, we could have done that when we were IN the EU but thanks to your vote we can’t anymore as we are now a third country and we have to process them even if they’ve traveled through ten safe countries. I would have expected someone who works for an engineering company to realise this, unfortunately your response shows how well the gaslighting has worked on people.

Having worked on the railway for 33 years you could not help notice that there's far too many middle managers on 70k plus sitting on their arses watching tv all day.

  20.  @johneastwood3039  Hi John. With regards to the Eastern Europeans- up to the referendum there were 3.8 million that came here and roughly 800,000 ended up claiming on some sort of benefit. Whilst the rules were never laid down correctly by the tories ( no one else ) and have those sent home they stayed. The thing is the other 3 million were working. That means they paid tax and N.I. into the UKs coffers . In fact if you bothered to check rather than going down the usual xenophobia route, the ones that worked paid FOUR TIMES more than what their countrymen and women took out, so they paid for them and then some. The crucial point to my answer is this - if they don't come from Europe they will come from elsewhere ( India being the favourite) as like it or not John us English won't get up at 4am to pick fruit n veg or wipe our elderly peoples arses because as we know the English are very good at sending their relatives off to a care home asap whilst they wait for them to pop their clogs to claim their inheritance!

At least we are now getting 40 new hospitals and 50,000 new nhs nurses paid for by the extra 350m a week now we've left the EU and our borders are finally protected and we've got back all our sovereignty.
