  3. Let's all work for a fiver an hour to keep you happy. Better still let's get all the self employed to start paying proper N.I. contributions and remove all the claiming for everything thru the accountant. That would help the core workers get a decent payrise.

  4.  @t-zero8880  Like the railways the postal service has lots of long term employees. This treatment is deliberately done to push the long term workers out and to bring in new recruits under much worse terms and conditions.
