  8.  @davidrobertsemail  No Billy. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere they can apply anywhere they want. Safe country rules only apply if they have family members with settled status in another country. We can’t send them back under the Dublin agreement because we ARE NO LONGER IN THE EU.

Add on the 4% it’s hit our GDP as well whilst your at it. Whether we did or didn’t isn’t the issue, we now are legally obligated to take them once they arrive hence Cruellas boat nonsense being ripped to pieces by barristers far more intelligent than her. With over 6 months of backlogs and an incompetent government is another reason it will fail. UN convention states they can apply for asylum anywhere they want and they can travel thru as many safe countries to get to the place they want to apply, one reason the government are trying to get out of the ECHR ( which Churchill was a big supporter of ) then the UN which will make us the third country out of it with Belarus and Russia!
