You sound like an intelligent guy but I’m wondering why you are listening to the bilge from people like Truss who will be sitting pretty on a huge pension for the rest of her life for ruining the UK & putting up peoples mortgages in less that 2 months. With regards to the immigration figures being so high, these are simply down to the fact that a large percentage of the population believed the bullshite from a load of toffs who never had the average working man and woman’s interest at heart. Brexit was about making a small number of people a large amount of money in a short space of time, William Rees-Mogg predicted all this in his books. The old divide and rule has worked and we stand in a far less favourable position as a country than we were before the referendum with no legal route to return anyone back to a safe country if they are here applying for asylum like they all are. I also find it funny that people follow someone who told them to give up their freedom of movement yet lives abroad with their own intact on an Irish passport!

@ianhawdon3680 You’d only be over your allowance by £678. Effectively you are paying about £130 for the year. I’d be more concerned with my fuel and food bills going up around 40% after 2016’s nonsense.

Well done for enjoying the fruits of being a third country. Brexit voters are to blame yet are still moaning and blaming a government that’s only been in charge for 6 months. There’s no such thing as Illegals, not until processed accordingly, yet you still keep going on about it. No one is “allowing” anyone to come in, they are here because we now have no rights to send them straight back like we did when we were in the EU and that’s the ONLY reason they are flocking here in record numbers. Stay angry.🇬🇧

The immigrants coming in today are here to claim from a system that favours them all assisted by the 52% that put their X in the wrong box. You can’t compare them to the people that came here back in the 50s 60s & 70s all who came here to work and help the UK. Anyone who wants to go into our NHS should not have to pay for their own training and that’s why we need people who’ve received free training abroad to fill the thousands of vacancies. It’s the system that’s at fault not the people.

Got off lightly if you take the sentences to some of the JSO protesters. People kicking off about this being Labour’s doing have obviously forgot about who brought these rules in. You were right to pick out who she was married to being not really relevant but then mentioned the colour of the bloke ( the big black man ) who attacked the gent from the forces. Colour, job title or how much someone’s house of worth etc is just another gaslighting method to keep the angry crowd frothy.

Unfortunately they are only “illegal” when they’ve been processed accordingly - currently there’s an 18 month backlog. They have come here to claim asylum (65% success rate) all made easier thanks to people voting for Brexit and making the UK a third country. Once the buildings are taken over they are no longer “hotels” if they were you could go there and stay in them.
