  3.  @ROFT Not really. Pensioners don’t care about anyone but themselves. One of my neighbours is the perfect example. Thinks he’s owed the works and doesn’t care that young people can’t get on the property ladder.

  5. We ain’t in Europe anymore now we’ve become the peoples democratic republic of little England so you can’t really compare anything to any countries out there.

  6. ⁠ @ROFT They got 8.6% this year. Obviously so as to keep them voting Tory which is the main reason the country is knackered. Pensioners need to accept they had a huge part in how the country is today. Public sector pay increases are a totally different scenario.

  7.  @ROFT The only theme that we have is pensioners comparing their pension to that of people in the EU when we are no longer in it. Like a lot of people they are realising they made a huge mistake when they put their X in the wrong box. Too late now.

  8.  @ROFT In the 2019 election 57% of 60-69 voted blue and 67% 70+ voted blue. So yes, pensioners need to take the blame.

The only problem is that the Scots chose to stay in the union so need to accept the blame as well. No point in pretending to be independent when you won’t vote for it. Just imagine how you would get on without us horrible Londoners paying for everything?

  10. Just imagine if only we’d have stayed in the EU and joined Dublin IV when it comes around. If the rules were used properly then we wouldn’t have the problems we have today.
